As one of Europe’s leading propeller prepare and overhaul facilities, Brinkley Aerospace required four disassembled propellers, blades and hubs, to be professionally shrink wrapped to meet the specification of the purchaser ready for transportation and long-term corrosion protection. This needed to be done in-situ in their state-of-the-art facility as space was at a premium. In addition, Brinkley Propellers required this material to be applied professionally by a third party.
HITEK-nology Solutions Ltd were contracted by Lake Engineering Solutions to perform the application of the materials due to their application expertise with Cortec Corporation products. The Cortec® VpCI®-146 Kraft paper was used to protect sensitive parts before the Cortec® VpCI®-126 Shrink film was applied.
